What gets deleted
Deleting your account removes:
- your profile — display name, email address, profile picture, and the link between TravelArt and your Google, Facebook or Apple account;
- every saved itinerary, including both the originally generated version and your edited version;
- your Wish List and the quiz preferences stored with your account;
- any avatar image you uploaded to our storage.
Deletion is permanent. We cannot bring an itinerary back once the account is gone, so download any PDF you want to keep before you ask.
Ask us to delete it
Email travelart@gmail.com from the address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my account”, and tell us:
- the email address on your TravelArt account;
- which provider you sign in with — Google, Facebook or Apple.
We use the sending address to confirm the request is really yours. If you can no longer send from that address, say so and we will agree another way to verify it before anything is deleted.
How long it takes
- We confirm by email as soon as the request is processed, and always within 30 days.
- Live data is removed from our database and file storage at that point.
- Encrypted backups rotate out within a further 90 days, after which no copy remains.
What we keep, and why
- Aggregate analytics — counts of itineraries generated, ticket links opened and PDFs downloaded — which are not linked to you or to any account.
- The minimum records we must keep by law, or need in order to establish or defend a legal claim. These are held separately and used for nothing else.
- Anything you exported yourself, such as a downloaded PDF, stays on your device — we cannot reach it.
Removing TravelArt from your sign-in provider
Deleting your TravelArt account does not automatically remove TravelArt from the list of connected apps held by your sign-in provider. To tidy that up:
- Google — open Google Account → Data & privacy → Third-party apps & services and remove TravelArt.
- Facebook — open Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites and remove TravelArt.
- Apple — open Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple, choose TravelArt and stop using Apple ID.
Revoking access stops future sign-ins, but on its own it does not delete the data we already hold. Send the request above for that.
If you never created an account
Itineraries you build without signing in never reach our servers — they are held in your browser’s local storage on your device. Clearing your browsing data for this site deletes them, and there is nothing on our side to delete.
